[Apertium-stuff] what are '@' and '#' in incubator language pair

Hello, I have installed english to french language pair from the incubator with scalemt. How come there are '@' and '#' symbols seen on some words? How do i edit those words and add some words to dictionaries? Any help is highly appreciated. Francis
