the script, you have to download the whole *trunk* directory,
and then to run:
*./autogen.sh*
*./configure*
*make*
*make install*
As you know, you can use the option *--prefix=LOCALDIR *when running
*./configure* to install bitextor in a specific path (for example
*LOCALDIR* could
be */home/per/local/*).

Hi Per,
if I am not wrong, depending on how you compile GIZA++, it can generate the
coocurrence files on-the-fly during alignment, or you may need to do so
before running the alignment. Actually, I think that, with the standard
compilation, you are in the second case. Have a look here:

Hi everybody!
I'm performing some experiments on the dictionaries of the

Hello Hieu,
have you tried httrack? is the one used by Bitextor. It is very good, with
a lot of options which allows you to filter the kind of files to be
downloaded. Also, the documentation is quite good: http://www.httrack.com/
Cheers!

Hi all,
I've been working on the es-ca dictionaries for a pair of days and I have
noticed that there are some entries in the Spanish monolingual dictionary
(I have not checked it in the Catalan one) generating the same lexical
forms. For instance, I have found the word *barcelonismo*, which appear
Hi Kevin and Fran,
I Kevin's patch, but somthing changes that causes mistakes when
reformatting. I will try to add some "rubbish" at the end of my segments.
Anyway, thank you so much for your help!

Hi everybody,
I am performing some experiments with the fr-es pair. I am trying to
translate small n-grams (with 1<=n<=3). To be sure that they are translated
independently, I enclose each n-gram into HTML paragraph tags ().
Now, this is my problem: the defformater adds a dot at the end of each

I am trying to translate the sentence "balizko lau kasuren ." with

Even, if I try the sentence in erdaratu.eu, it fails too. Any idea about
how to solve this?
Cheers,
Miquel.

"apos"-"any"-"gen" ("gen" is the symbol to represent "'s").
I hope anybody can help me. Thanks a lot,

Hi,
I'm trying to translate a text file in English into Spanish. I have seen
that, if I have a text like:

Apertium translates it as:

I need the second ' to remain in the line in which it was placed in the
original text. I guess that is a problem with the tran

Hi all,
I'm working on the addition of new words in the Spanish monolingual

closed categories are completed... but actually I'm not totally sure about
which are these categories. Could anybody confirm this, please?

Hi everybody,
I've found a problem with the version of apertium-en-es in the SVN (
https://apertium.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/apertium/trunk/apertium-en-es)
in the release 25956. It happens taht, when I try to translate a text in

Apertium code. The changes I performed makes the translator to work, but I
don't know too much the code and I would preffer someone who knows it better
than me to take a look to the diff files (attached). If you agree the
changes, I can add them to the SVN.
