The book is huge (I read it) but I could not put it down as it details the collapse of a society where big, big government encroaches on and devastates the free enterprise system; the productive are penalized for the sake of the "looters" and of course such a society cannot sustain itself. As I read the book I was astounded, frightened and awestruck at how this novel, written so many years ago, relates totally to what is happening now under the BO regime. The movie has been panned by the critics (of course) and has had very limited advance promotion and limited distribution. The good news is that since it opened up, more and more theatres have been added to the list of theatres that show this movie. It is also entertaining enough to keep your interest. I saw Part I this Saturday. There are two other parts scheduled. Perfect timing...during the beginning of the election cycle. I urge you to support this movie by seeing it and passing this information along to others. Already the liberal conspiracy of silence is unraveling.
