When I add RAM to my Gateway, I have to set DIP switches on the motherboard.
I don't know if it will report lower RAM or not use the added RAM if I don't
set them.
The last time I priced SIMMs for this motherboard, they ran about $50 for 16
MB. Unfortunately, this motherboard requires
Dunno about windows 95 either - when I go to a dos box, it reports 64 meg.
Now, that would be fine , but I just upgraded from 64 to 160 (anybody want
to make me an offer on a 32meg simm?) and it still reports 64meg max. So,
