It's been awhile since I poked my head out to say hi, and now that I
have, it with an air of finality.
I plan to step down as leader of Arch Linux and pass the torch. The
reason for this is that I do not have the time to devote towards a
leadership role in a project the size of A

As many have heard, lilo (Rob Levin), the father of the Freenode IRC
network, passed away[1] on September 16th. He was hit by a car on September
12th while riding his bike and subsequently died from head trauma in the

Hey all,
Some people have requested[1] that we move the default linux capability
support to a module so that it can be replaced with other capability
models.
There's a catch though -- now that the capability stuff is modularized,
it needs to be loaded before some daemons can be used (eg, vsftpd).

Yea, tpowa had to fix it up a little so it would patch cleanly. A
