id recommend installing the stable 4.4 version if u dont have any reasons
for using the svn one. as an xfce developer has said in the forum they
intend to seriously break it at this point. plus its not like theres any
major differences between them at this point.
as far as the pkg being corrupted

Today when I want to install xfce4-svn, I found that the pacman can't
find the xfdesktop-svn package. The required package is
xfdesktop-svn-23995-3. But I can just find the following package:
lftp ftp.archlinux.org:/unstable/os/i686> ls xfdesk*
