[arch-general] Compiz Application Switcher(Ctrl+Tab) crashes X Server

i have quite a "standard" suite: [xorg18], [testing], intel-dri, Gnome, Compiz. when active Application Switcher of compiz several times(using Ctrl+Tab) in sequence, X server crashes. What I got in /var/log/Xorg.0.log, seemed to be caused by the intel-dri, is it still lack of stability in X 1.8?

Add powersave=0 into kernel line solves flickering problem of i915's. However, it may cause random lockup of X(on booting) at least on my laptop, never happen after removing this parameter. 2.6.33 didn't solve this problem either, but I still cannot find a bug report tracking this problem, any clu
