You can use '-ggdb -fvar-tracking-assignments -fno-omit-frame-pointer',
although with -g instead of -ggdb if it wouldn't be meant for GDB only.
If you're compiling with makepkg I think the glibc package requires
special handling
with regards to stripping of debugging symbols, you may need to read
