Perhaps I should start posting topless then :) Well Allan, if you can't see
the benefits of this, then I shouldn't bother mentioning the KISS
philosophy. Also, for instance, compiling gcc and gcc-libs would reduce time
and costs for the developers.
and what that is supposed to achieve?

Bash can handle array of arrays, dependening on how you implement it. I'm
not that useful in that manner, since I've applied on python.

that pkg1 is the head section, while pkg2, pkg3 is subsection of the
build. I've implemented this concept with python, and it works.

well it's certainly the way to go, unfortunately I'm occupied with some
pythonic endevours right now. I let the master speak for himself.

Well, I'm not a Chakra or kde user but I can say that I quite familiar with
the PKGBUILDS of core and extra packages, and needless to say, it's not
always consistent most of the times. So stop blaming others and work your
ass off when required!

Hello fellow Arch Linux devels and users,
I'm wondering if it's inappropriate to use "mkdir -p" in PKGBUILD instead of
"install". I've seen quite many official PKGBUILDs that use mkdir instead of
install, whose very structure I've adopted and applied in my various
PKBUILDs. Does it matter if it's
, hopping to explain my
arguments clearly as possible.

I agree with you completely. I'm not saying that Arch is unstable or stable,
but rather talking about rolling release concept in snapshot release. It's
good to know that there are people to seek help for this kind of project. I

thanks for the wiki link, it's good to know that some has tried to implement
the ideas, which I didn't know existed at all.

I'm sick of this Debian comparison, I'm infakt a former debian user for 8
