Whenever I move forward/backward on the same playing track (f/b), mpd
just hangs, usually so hard, that mpd needs to be restarted to do
anything. A workaround is to pause the track, and then mo

I'm afraid the Javier you're referring to is another one, :-) I've
seen a more active Javier on the list. I participate way less since
though I have years usi

Hi,
I don't use d-bus much, since I don't use desktop environments and I
tend to use light and configured things like autofs, fluxbox itself
and the like.
On my x86-64 machine running under arch-linux, I tried starting dbus
sessions prior to executing fluxbox as follows:
dbuslaunch="`which dbus-

So, no one with experience on arch with this usb device?
Thanks,

Hi,
I'm not a DE (desktop environment) user, and I'm not planning to
become one. I'm pretty comfortable with plain fluxbox... However
when people wonders about how to start on a linux kernel based OS,
specially to be able to run on old or low end machines, they really
expect a DE, not knowing th
Hi,
I'm not able to get my wintv-hvr 850 to work. It fails to find signal
in both x86-32 and x86-64 machines...
Some of the things I get (dmesg):

[ 143.746862] cx231xx #0: New device Hauppauge Hauppauge Device @ 480

If you have arch up to date, could it be you're using gtk-3.0 instead?
And then:
