The 'dotnet-sdk' and 'dotnet-runtime' packages have been marked as
out-of-date on 2019-08-02. I would like to encourage the maintainer to
update them as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Please, was this discussed somewhere? I want to know the details, and

I wonder if the following is acceptable:
pkgname = linux-drm-openchrome-git
pkgdesc = The Linux kernel and modules from the drm-openchrome tree - git

Hey guys.
I'm planning on packaging the linux kernel with OpenChrome DRM support from
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/openchrome/drm-openchrome/ to share in the AUR.
What should I name the package?
1. linux-drm-openchrome-git
2. linux-drm-openchrome-next-git
And what should the description be?
Hi. Can you check if this is related to the dynamic power management bug
reported at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1478219 and
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101976? In order to test it,
you can take a look at my scripts from https://gitlab.com/ranolfi/rforcedpm.

Hi,
any meaningful error messages printed when run from the terminal?
Fwiw I'm not getting any errors in Firefox 65.0.1 on Cinnamon.

Forgot to mention, this is only an issue with Skype. In both guvcview and
firefox, the webcam just works.

Hi,
I use skypeforlinux-stable-bin-8.18.0.6-1 and an USB webcam.
Upon updating to the 4.16 series kernel, I noticed my webcam was not
working in Skype, but instead a black screen was shown.
Then, after checking 'ls -ltrh /dev/video*' I found these:
crw-rw+ 1 root video 81, 1 Apr 21 21:11
No similar problems with RX550 on kernel 4.16.2 and latest mesa packages,
although Gnome Videos (totem) is buggy. I can't click any buttons.
DRI not available sounds like a kernel issue. What does 'dmesg | grep drm'
show you?

Have a look at the changelogs:
https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.15.4 and
https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.15.5.
Looks like it could be a DRM issue. Which graphics hardware and driver
stack are you using?

Hi,
I've just accidentally deleted my '/usr/local/share' folder.
This happened while I was creating custom copies of launchers from
/usr/share/applications.
Now, if I understand it correctly, the '/usr/local' directory should
only contain files created by the user. In fact, I checked other

Hi,
Replacing GDM for LightDM was a smart move.
(You can make it look like GDM; here's a hand: https://goo.gl/WpMrYg)
If you like GNOME and would still like to use it, I recommend changing
vm.swappiness to a higher value (default is 60). In my case I found
that changing it to 80 solved most of
Guys,
Great to see this brought up here.
I've been using Ardour 5.12 for quite a while now, along with recent
versions of some of the other packages listed. To be honest I've been
a little bit self-centered, checking out and updating packages to my
benefit using ABS.
So I take this opportunity
KShare is worth keeping an eye on. It's based on the (excellent)
ShareX for Windows, and the developer is active.

Good morning,
With Cinnamon 3.4.2 released 2 days ago, the version available in the
official repository is now 3 releases behind.
I exhort those in charge to please give this matter some attention.
Thanks.
