Okay. I figured that sometimes v2 and v1 become separate packages, so it might

pacman will request to update all installed packages. If you think you don't
need a certain package, -Rscn it. Not upgrading a package that you
nevertheless keep installed is probably a Bad Idea (as you realize).
That being said, there's no major disadvantage (disk space issues

Symlinks will appear lrwxrwxrwx, but are not actually writable. (You can only

On a related note - I also get this "no ACPI estimate" error, but only
when my laptop is not on battery power. When unplugged, it gives
estimates as desired.
