Hello.
If you're using an AMD GPU, you won't be able to shutdown or reboot

This is a known issue on kernel bug tracker :

Hello.
I noticed that all mate packages are flagged as outdated for nearly
two weeks now. I built Mate 1.24.0 using official PKGBUILDs and it ran
great besides a rebuild of mate applets related to new cpupower
version.
Any ETA for Mate 1.24?
Thanks.

I noticed today that gnome-keyring with seahorse 3.34.0 broke

I noticed since glibc 2.27 update on testing repos, my archlinux based

Sorry to reply to Phil Wyet this way. I enabled digest mode for arch-general.
You won't see soon linux 4.9.x in core because it is kinda rotten with
some Intel CPUs.
You cannot get it to boot on some intel CPUs like an old T4200 or younger ones.

Hello.
Just done an install using arch-install-scripts, and it wasn't so bad.
The only bad thing is that grub2 is not available. I busted my
installed system trying to install grub 2.0rc1 (wrong UUID in grub.cfg
file). I finally installed syslinux while trying to understand what
happened.
So, gre

Hello.
I've read the wiki page for arch-install-scripts. It is not very
"user-friendly". Any hope to see this "embedded" in a program, like
good old arch/setup ?
I'm not afraid of these scripts, but it could drive away some users
which are not ready for a so "simplified" installation tool.

Well, Tom gave the answer. Boot on rescue-CD / rescue USB-key.
Remove /lib.
And create a symlink : ln -sf /usr/lib lib
I think there will be a lot of problem for a lot of users when glibc

Well, I think I have to do this mistake. I *do* know that forcing

Hello.
I upgraded a few minutes ago my archlinux + testing installation. As I
cannot install glibc (because of some AUR software which had links or
binary in /lib), I made the mistake of forcing installation. My system
is dead. I will try repairing using archboot on an USB key.

Hello.
I'm used to build every days or every two days mozilla firefox from
its trunk source code.
Today, after glibc 2.16 upgrade on testing, after a successful build
process, I got an error message while trying to package mozilla
firefox :
/bin/sh : line 1 : 22172 Segmentation fault

gnome shell to crash when I type "cal" (without quotes) in order to launch
calculator or libreoffice calc :(
Weird :\
