PPS: There was a request at Ubuntu Studio users list what to use as the default video player. https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-studio-users/2011-December/008049.html Suggested was TOTEM, some preferred VLC, nobody was thinking of MPlayer ;).
