Aaaargh, sorry, seldom, but sometimes Evolution doesn't sort mails by
date as wanted or also seldom, I sort mails by thread and forget to
switch back to date, anyway, my mistake.

You aren't confusing two different issues?
When I upgraded Xfce I lost the options to restart and to shut down for
the panel item.

Without a display manager, some time in the last few months you now
seem to have to add permissions for shutdown and suspend to console kit.

hi all,
since a few days, i experience some problems on shutdown. i'm running
kde and systemd on a fully upgraded system.
when shutting down via kde controls (ctrl-alt-del oder button), i am
logged off and presented the login screen, but no shutdown occurs.
i tried to change the shutdown command
