We initially planned to support chevron diagrams which contain sequences of chevrons (as shown in attached single_successor.png). This model is restricted to capturing a single predecessor and successor per business process. However, there can be multiple predecessors and successors per process, so that we have to extend this model to capture this. Therefore, I think it is better if we support chevron diagrams where each chevron can be connected to multiple predecessor and successor chevrons as shown in multiple_successor.png.
