Hi all,
I have some problems with SMTP authentication.
After I set up all parameters I made some tests and the result is that
messages are not sent.
So I installed a software to look at the packet and I saw that username and
password are not sent from client to server.
Does anybody knows

I work with Jeannine hear at the college. I am seeing this in our logs which I
think is your attempt as the ip address resolves to ariel.jlab.org:
IRECEIVE-38 10-04-02 15:20:48 Received request from source 129.57.28.7.

Hi Matthew:
The first time I sent document, I typed in the wrong IP address. The
second time it was correct. I forgot to delete the send and it is still
trying since yesterday
I am attaching the log report, part of it. Maybe that will help

I am guessing the attachment was stripped. Please feel free to send it
directly if you like. I will summarize any interesting bits inline for
posterity.
