Hey'all,
I'd like to share some personal thoughts and hopes regarding Arig activity
during 2014.
There are several converging vectors that I believe are pointing to a real need
for the Arig network to begin bootstrapping itself, with a strong emphasis on
actual physical connections.

Hey there fr33domlover,
Welcome to Arig :)
There is a reason why this mailing list is in English, some of the participants
here are not Hebrew-speakers.
Not only that, but most of the Hebrew speakers amongst us prefer writing in
English when it comes to messages that contain technical terms, and
Not SSL issue. Slow DNS propagation. Same over here -

Hey'all,
So yesterday we met for the second time to do a cantenna workshop, as we've
been planning for a while.
For those not following, this is a joint initiative with Avner Peled, who's
been doing weekly tech workshops with teenagers via אס"ף - which works to aid
refugees and asylum seekers,
There's lots we can do to show our stuff, and no doubt it's going to be a
pretty good location.
I'm in for whatever we're gonna do there - sounds awesome.

Bezeq Int. do not support IPv6 - I was on the phone with them last week and got
nothing from them.
Netvision claim they do, but one of their support staff has yet to return my
emails as to how exactly that should work.

Some money - http://www.isoc.org.il/iix/2x_price.html
Also, remember that IIX is for domestic connections only.

I should mention that the goals are:
- prevent anonymous clients (2.0/24) access to home network (1.0/24)
- prevent explicit/implicit abuse of total bandwidth by guest clients on
(2.0/24)
- ensure priority for 1.0/24 connections

What would be the best to handle QoS in a routed AP openwrt-based setup?
Assume 192.168.1.0/24 for a default "home" router
And 192.168.2.0/24 for a routed AP serving anonymous clients
What important parameters should be QoS'd? bandwidth? connections?
Should this be handled on the home router side,
Baasa.
Are we all meeting up at TAMI today?
