Actually, Enigma came first. About the beats used in Enigma's and Telephone are pre-created loops. ARR took this from Apple's loops CD. And Enigma also happened to use the same thing from Apple loops CD. ARR's many songs use Apple loops. Then the flute thing. This is Shakuhachi flute used.
