requested by CWG Organizing Committee. Hence the delay in releasing it. In
essence, he delivered what was requested by them - I don't think ARR should

The current song is good - CWG team must release the video ASAP and promote it
everywhere on TV, Movie Theaters, Kiosks, etc...

I don't understand Telugu, but the songs are real bueaty. Maralante, Namake,
Amma Thale, Dochey, etc... wow, it's in a loop on my iPod

Nicely written. But, I feel that we put undue pressure on the maestro with the
below statement.
That “fairly good” is unacceptable from someone like ARR. Only masterpieces
that transcend human imagination deserve to be associated with his name!

By no means CWG theme song is mediocre or bad. A R Rahman sir, we love you and
your music. We will always be with you - not just during rough times like
these.
Year 2010 has been tremendous so far... thanks for making our life so beautiful

It is natural for people to go overboard and question everything after the
news
about corruption in CWG. I don't think 5 crore is just for song composition
alone - I read somewhere that it also includes his appearances and live
performances as well. I have also read that more than one song

I agree. I like the CWG song. It's not his best but is nice, definitely not bad
at all.
Not sure why people always rush to conclude that ARR song after first few
