I haven't checked the other video yet, but an asian a cappella group from
Georgia Tech of which I was a co-founder and performer also did Dil se. Its the
second song in the video. Its our humble attempt at a tribute to ARR's
brilliant composition. Its actually a mix of Chalka (saathiya) and Dil

Wow this is awesome news but it also brings me to a conundrum. I intend to
catch both hindi and tamil versions in NJ next weekend, but which one to watch
first :)

Wow what an experience.
If you are going to the Jai Ho tour with the expectation that it will be the
same as last time you will be in a different treat. The reason being this time
the focus is more on India for western audiences as stated BY Rahman himself.
To begin with no Sivamani, but there
Hi all,
Saw this article today on TOI about top 5 headphones, thought I will pass it
along. I personally own a Creative EP-630 and now obsolete Sony MDR V150.

I watched the movies too and its just the typical cues you would have
for any hollywood movie. I actually liked the movie. I don't know if you
watch Vince Vaighan and Will Ferrell movies but this is along the same
lines. Ofcourse not Brat Pack but definitely worth a laugh. Sajna was

The first time I heard the song, I sort of felt the transition is abrupt
into the bhangra part sung by Sonu but that maybe bcoz they wanted to
edit for the promo. But I must say, I have heard this promo about 10
times now and can't stop myself going overboard.
I so hope t
The new version of Taxi Taxi seems more like the old version or the
version originally composed by Rahman. Rahman said in the interview that
the song initially had a bhangra like feel to it but then later was
modified to give a reggae tone, latin feel. If you listen to the end
credits or last secti
I thought I read a post sometime back in the group that said Sivaji in
Hindi has been shelved. It was supposed to be a dubbed version but
somewhere down the line Shankar lost hope or something to that effect. I
have seen reports that he is locating hunting for Robot so don't know if

Guys,
In the song Tu Mera Hain from Ada, there are several background vocals
but the one that I am curious about is 'Ya Rab'. Is that Naresh singing
it? There is also another chorus sung by someone else that I can't quite
figure out.
I am happy that I have begun to move towards non-stop playba
Mindblowing post Rawat. Thanks a bunch. I had seen most of these earlier
except for Aahista my favorite song in the album. I was really touched
seeing the picturization of the song.
It seems the song is also faster in tempo as compared to the one in the
soundtrack.
Thanks again,

Hey,
I am a bit lost here. This is probably the 3rd of 4th article I am
seeing that tries to associate ARR with remixes. I thought Krishna
Chetan was behind the remix in ATM and JTYJN. And the other song Thottal
Poo from New is a re-tune and not a remix. So ARR has not done any
remixes and rig
This news item sounds very unlike Shankar. I did not know even an iota
of the storyline before any Shankar release and for Robit now you
arguably know pretty much the whole thing. You may get feelers and
rumors before his release but thats about it. I sense something is fishy

Not all of it was played by Kadrigopalnath. There was another artist who
played the saxophone and Kadri came only for 2 songs I think. You can
check the credits on the cassette/cd cover for the name. Nevertheless
some brilliant work by Kadri in that movie.

Count me in too for the Atlanta leg. I may get about 7 others to join me but

Hey ARR Fans,
When one of the group members posed the question about fans from USA, it dawned on me that we really don't have a database (I could not find one, pardon me if we have one already). I was hoping to see a database where people not only enter their personal info but also what

Hey,
The recent link for photos on webshots by Gops was just awesome. I really am jealous as someone has rightly pointed out before on not being present with the group for the concert. The photos especially with the fans were so evocative of the passion we possess towards anything from the
