wow.. I was thinkin the same about alphonse sir.He has the similar kind of
chord progressions and instrumentations(in a limited manner)
as ARRji.He has westernised malayalam music.But unfortunately malayalam music
lovers mostly are so conservative.Look at the number of films he has done over
the musical interlude of anbil avan from 1:37-2:18 mix up christian and hindu
marriage tunes in India...
Glad to know it is the same in Nepal too...
By the way ARR has mixed it with great perfection...

at first when i heard omana penne, i instantly liked it since it has a simple
tune.but then after repeated hearings, i can't get out of loop.The flow of the
song and the instrumentations is masterly crafted.
The simple tune gets intense from about 2:00 and then at 2:09 it changes its
mood, then
when roja was done,wasn't arr an ameteur...the songs were ameteurish
too...since every song created a new genre by itself never heard before...so
they were amateur in the genre...
soo glad that people feel the same after these years
