I just listened to this breathtaking track called 'Raga's dance', co- composed by Rahman for Vanessa Mae's "Choreography" album. As the title suggests, the melody is primarily raga-based. Does anyone know which raagas are used? Perhaps music experts can shed some light into this... particularly interesting in the one used in the last 50 seconds or so: I don't know if it's just one raga, or a combination of several, but it's incredible, like the rest of the track. I recommend fans of Rahman and/or violin to listen to this album. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> In low income neighborhoods, 84% do not own computers.
