Fm Rainbow
Singer Unnikrishnan " Hi Rahman. This is Unnikrishnan. Hope you are doing well. I am very happy to have been part of this show, to discuss about you and to interview you. Working with you has been a great experience for me. I still remember the first meeting of mine with you in Director Rajeev Menon's residence. I can never forget that day. We were discussing a lot of different ragas, and I also sang a few of them . I also requested to you that I would want to see a Recording Session of yours, as I haven't seen Film recording till date. It so happened, that you called me for that song " Ennavale Adi Ennavale" to your studio, and I can never forget that song in my life. Of course, my experience with you , to say that you are a very great human being, and that is what which comes first in my mind. You have been the same throughout. Humble, from the day I have known you, till today. Wishing you many more such great moments in life. All Success in all your endeavours in the future. We are all of artistes and we have been doing the same thing for years. You are a composer, and you have been composing so many songs for so many films, over so many years. Over the years, doing the same thing again and again, how do you motivate yourself to create something better ? ARR :- Unni. This is a good question actually. Usually, I get bored over doing the same things. I would want to do something different, whenever I feel bored. When I started working in Tamil in 1991 and after 3 years, Hindi opened up with Rangeela. And after 3 more years, I started doing mainstream Hindi movies. Then I did Bombay Dreams. Actually, Bombay Dreams was done at a very prime important time in my career. I would have missed about 20 films, when I opted for doing Bombay Dreams. But I had the satisfaction of doing something exciting for India. That energy was a great factor to me. But beyond all this, once you get a following and love from the audience, it motivates you to work hard. You get to work for their satisfaction. Definitely, God has blessed, and without that blessing, this energy wouldn't have been got. So, Thanks Unni. -- regards, Vithur
