I dont think you can say that RDB was consistent for 25 years. If you look at his career graph, he had first hit in "Teesri Kasam", which came in 1966. he had great time from then to early 80s. But by then his number of his were few and rare. I think between 80 - 85 he had only few hits like Saaga
