Well, I had also raised same thoughts a week ago, but I concede that what is shown in the film has been really occurring time and again at several places in India. So, it is not false, at least. Amitabh should also contemplate about his own dozens of angry young man films, showing smuggling, murder, hera pheri cheating, extra marital affairs and what not, whether that was the true state of situation in India. His own ABCL films were arbitrary and had nothing to do with Indian realities. I hope he will produce some movies showing the good realities of India. -- Rawat http://www.bhaskar.com/2009/01/15/0901150847_slumdog_millionaire.html स्लमडॉग मिलियनेयरज् पर भड़के अमिताभ बच्चन एजेंसी Thursday, January 15, 2009 08:36 [IST] मुंबई. च्स्लमडॉग मिलियनेयरज् भले ही 4 गोल्डन ग्लोब पुरस्कार जीतकर इतिहास रच चुकी हो, भले ही रहमान के जय हो .. संगीत का जादू चल गया हो , भले ही अनिल कपूर इसे ऐतिहासिक बता रहें हो लेकिन बिग बी अमिताभ बच्चन फिल्म पर भड़क गए है और कहा है कि इस फिल्म में देश की छवि को गलत तरीके से फिल्माया गया है। बिग भी ने पेरिस से लिखे अपने ब्लॉग में कहा है की अगर विकसित देशों के लोगों को लगता है कि भारत एक ऐसा विकासशील देश हैं जहां गंदगी और पिछड़ापन आम बात है तो उन लोगों को जान लेना चाहिए कि ऐसी गंदगी और पिछड़ापन विकसित कहे जाने वाले देशों में भी मौजूद है। बिग बी ने इसके लिए पूरी तरह से फिल्म के निर्देशक को दोषी करार दिया है और कहा है कि देश की छवि को गलत तरीके से अगर कोई प्रस्तुत करता है तो एक देशभक्त हिन्दुस्तानी को दुऱ्ख तो पहुचेंगा ही। भारत में बहुत कुछ बदल गया है लेकिन विकसित देशों के फिल्मकारों को यह सब नहीं दिखता है वे व्यवसायिक हिन्दी सिनेमा को लेकर एक वाक्य कहने में झिझक महसूस करते है। --
