Going by the initial trends, the sales are above average. But then, that is the way with any Rahman blockbuster. The music shops such as Landmark, Music World, Connexions however say, the sales are good, standing next to Chandramukhi in the chart. Ajith must be euphoric indeed, looking at the way, his fans are going on in a promo campaign. It is hoped that Godfather will perform better than Paramasivan. If it does, it will be a second coming for Ajith.
