Hii all,
I think a very pertinent point has come up in the
group for discussion or should i say of some kind of
an action.somebody mentioned tht rather than posting
messages(which is of course a good thing) we need to
do smthng beyond this.we need to work further to
promote the works of our master.i don't have a clear
picture but it's something like this.
well cricketers have some ppl assigned who are known
as endorsement or sports managers who actually take
the initiative of popularising the player and promote
him as a brand.through this he gets sponsors and
endorsements which are handled by ths ppl.well arr
needs no intro. but i really feel sad tht some of his
most melodious scores has sunk without a trace.we just
keep on discussing abt thm in ths forum since we r
ardent fans of rahman. but common public(junta) has no
idea of these soulful melodies.i don't want to name
those films as all of us know and the list will go on
and on.so guys why not take up the idea of
popularising his compositions especially the films
which were miserable but had gr8 music.something like
Bose(wow wht a score) which rahman rightly mentioned
as Bose:the forgotten music.these films hv gone down
due to bad advertising and very weak promotions.
it is somthng a very premature idea but some of us can
form a company which would take care of promotions and
enhancing the musical part of the film more than the
film itself. i know many eyebrows wd be raised but we
can make a start somewhere.
hey guys just shatter the keys and give some feedback
yaar.
so all rahmaniacs lets venture out smthng.
for the strt plzz get the t-shirt idea moving faster.
i think thts the first step to promote our master
aggressively.
