The maestro also visited the Dargah Sharif.
Crediting his success to Sufism, Rahman said, “I am indebted to Khwaja Gharib Nawaz for the success of the song, Khwaja mere Khwaja.” “Khwaja Gharib Nawaz has changed the destiny of many people. I’m here to thank Him after winning the Oscar,”he said. Rahman, who has been visiting Ajmer for the past 20 years, said he couldn’t have touched such heights without the Khwaja’s blessings. Talking to the media at his Kundan Nagar home, he added, “My family and I find peace in Ajmer. We enjoy each other’s company here.” Rahman said he was not planning a new composition at present. “Music comes from within, and peace of mind is needed for that,” he said. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Cities/I-owe-my-success-to-Sufism-Rahman/articleshow/4266196.cms -- regards, Vithur
