The veena-like prelude piece in Sillunnu oru kaadhal's 'Machakkaari' sounds rather similar to soul-rock band, Maroon 5's 2002 track, 'Shiver'...the tunes are quite different though.
Before assuming anything, could some of the more knowledgeable/ better-connected members of this group throw some light on whether this could possibly be a commercially available loop/ piece?
