I personally liked the CWG theme song. I’ve heard it about 3-4 times so far.
I did not compare it with ‘Waka Waka’ or any other theme song that I have heard earlier. This song is pretty good and you will start liking it when you don’t listen with pre-conceived notions. And yes, I did not compare this song with Rahman’s 90s albums or his recent film songs as I feel that is a pointless exercise.:-) -
