Aussie songstress Kylie Minogue is set to resurrect her acting career by
starring in a Bollywood movie.

Minogue (40) has been offered the opportunity to act in the film by the
brilliant team behind the critically acclaimed movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'.
The singer became involved in the project when she was asked by composer
A.R. Rahman, who composed the music for the award-winning film, to write the
soundtrack for his next film 'Blue'.

Quoted in The News Of The World, Rahman said: "The producers wanted a
celebrity and we had a choice of four.

"The was Beyonce and a couple of others we chose Kylie in the end. Things
should happen in the next couple of months hopefully."

This new role will not be the "Wow" singers first venture onto the big
screen, she has previously starred in the successful Baz Lurhmann musical
'Moulin Rouge' in 2001.
