I am sure that even after lot of listenings, its almost impossible for ATM to equal the magic created by "Pachai Nirame" or some of the other Rahman albums like Alaipayuthey, Dil Se, Bombay, Roja
But that said, this album is given to us by Rahman in the commercial format. Its his way of saying that I can compose music for these types of movies too and can give it better than anyone today. That is the statement that I infer from this album of Rahman. he has indirectly defined how to compose music for a commercial film. Lot of music these days rely on ear breaking drums and percussions. Notice the usage of instruments in this album and there is nothing painful about it. Be it commercial music or other kinds of music, there can be only one king and thats Rahman. sai --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, "Thulasi Ram" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > After listening to ATM songs continuously in my mobile for some 6 hours, I turned the random mode of the music player on and guess what song played? Pachchai nirame! [image: :)] After listening to Pachchai nirame, the songs of ATM fade away in comparison. And that's when I realized that a non-Rahmaniac will do the mistake of comparing most of recent Rahman's songs with ones like Pachchai nirame and say that the standard of his music has gone down when that's not the case at all. You just have to give a Rahman's song the time needed so as to fully let the magic in it unfold completely. [image:
