Hi Arun you are very much right , I too had the same feelings like u , I was actually listening only to those peppy english songs and always neglected indian songs and felt they were not very innovative always had some simillarity in songs and once i listened to rahmans songs roja was my all time favorite the song is never ending pleasure to ears giving u peace form whatever situation of mind u are I really feel that Rahman has the touch of music that many MD's are lacking by my understanding the genre of music he is capable of innovating is limitless I did.n know hindi as i was a tamilian but since i listened all his songs i somehow also learnt the language may be if his song got released in telugu ,malayalam,kannada probably i wud have learnt them also,
