I agree with Indmovboff in this- Maniratnam is the best when it comes to the
picturisations of songs.
Shankar is no doubt, great with graphics and grandeur presentation- I still
smile whenever I see Chikku
gly shot Iruvar songs! Mani is simply the master when it comes to
choreography of songs.

music beautifully, right from his Chikku Bukku days. But somewhere along the
line, PD seemed to be very repetitive with his steps and lac
Vimal, whilst I like Shankar's stuff I till think Mani tops him for reasons you
mentioned : his songs are a piece of art. No need for grandeur sets or exotic
locations. Alaipayuthey is also another example. So is Roja. And Thiruda

agree.. kanathil muthamittal was awesome. i love the way kannamoochi enada

@Indmov Buff,
While I think Shankar choreographs the best...i agree with you about "Kannathil
Muthamittal"..each and every song (and video) was a piece of art, and most
importantly, blended with the music and the story of the film...Mani's best
choreography to date (in the sense that it blends
Kannathil muthamittal! Classy stuff! No one in india choreographs like
