Dear Friends July 01 I had posted a message sometime back about a special programme planned in Pune on AR Rahman's songs conducted by a group of Rahman Fans under the banner "Resonance".
Well, the programme was held in Yeshwantrao Chavan Auditorium on Saturday 25'th June and repeat performance on Wednesday 29'th June at 10PM on both days. I attended the wednesday programme and believe me, the performance was outstanding !!! The preparation of the group was simply GREAT ! They obviously had taken great pains in their practice and songs selection and what a performance they gave !! Congratulations to the RESONANCE group especially Anmol Bhave and his team of singers, keyboard specialist, rhythm composers, and backstage assistants. You all deserve a salute from the Puneites !!! The group played Hindi songs but for each song, they gave a brief history of the song including the original movie and its story. The entire programme was conducted in noteworthy discipline and honesty and including me, everyone in the audiance enjoyed the programme immensely ! Dear Resonance Group, we want more programmes from you in nearest future and let's begin an effort to bring together all ARR likeminded fans in Pune with this programme. Let's meet soon !!!
