S hankar, the director of
the yet to be released Tamil film Shivaji The Boss is being so
secretive about his movie that he doesnt even want his unit to know
when the film will be released! The movie, which is 60 per cent
complete, stars Rajnikanth and Shreya. Nobody wants to talk about
the film because Shankar has instructed everyone involved to keep
mum. The director didnt even invite the films cast and crew for
the puja he was doing for it. I have never worked with someone who
is so secretive, says a unit member on condition of anonymity. Now
one wonders whether he is paranoid that someone will copy his film
or is just hoping to build a lot of hype around it. Well, its hard
to keep a secret and a few interesting bits were revealed about the
film.
Two songs of the film have been shot in Hyderabad and one in
Spain. Designer Manish Malhotra who has designed costumes for the
lead actors says, I am very excited to be working with Rajni sir.
Since he plays an NRI in the movie I have given him a lot of suits.
Shreyas is a very glamorous and different look. When contacted
actress Shreya was very tight-lipped about the film. She just said
that she was happy to be a part of it. But unit members reveal she
is playing a Telugu girl. And for one of the songs shot in Hyderabad
she will be seen sporting a very Indo Western look, which includes
lots of skirts.
