There is an assortment of conjectures which are doing brisk business in
the media trying to outline the story of Sivaji. But director Shankar
asserts that the actual film would be way ahead and beyond all
conceivable imaginations. In an interview to a weekly,
  [rajini]
he states, "People suspect that I have used graphics techniques while
filming the song 'sahara pookkal poothado'. But on the contrary, we have
erected sets made of glass completely. As it is, it is difficult to
shoot in a set but it is even more challenging to shoot in an ambience
filled with glass as there is a lot of perceivable reflection which
needed to be avoided. But thankfully, the results are satisfactory."

While talking about the other song vaaji vaaji, Shankar says that a
grand palace was erected to shoot this number. Even the minutest and
intricate details of a palace has been taken into consideration while
erecting this citadel and Shankar adds with pride that such sets have
never been created in the history of Indian cinema before. He is
confident that viewers will be astounded by the grandiose of the
sequence.
