The clocks a ticking and most Hyderabadi’s will be heading to one
destination to watch A R Rahman live in action! With all roads leading to
the concert and just a few hours to go, people are scurrying around to make
sure they get their tickets. Good news that there’s a special treat for
students who can get 50 percent off on their Rs 2500, 1000 and Rs 500
tickets on showing their student ID cards. Those who have conveyance issues,
need not worry because arrangements have been made to operate special buses
today starting 14.30 onwards — so turn those frowns upside down people!
A much excited Rahman says, “Hyderabad is one of my favourite cities.
This is the first time I will be performing in Hyderabad and am really
looking forward to the concert and it all depends on how much support you
guys are going to give me.” So, show him your love, Hyderabad!
Incase you want to know what to expect at the show tonight; there’s an
array of musicians including rap artiste, Blaaze to percussionist Sivamani
in performance. When asked what new can be expected, Blaaze said, “I’ll do a
few songs with improvised raps thrown in.” Also performing at the concert
are Chitra, Benny Dayal, Sadhna Sargam, Shweta Pandit, Neeti Muhan and our
