BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL GOLDEN KINNAREE AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT A GALA PRESENTATION 24 February 2006
The winners of the 4 th Bangkok International Film Festival Golden Kinnaree Awards were announced at a gala black-tie dinner held at the Conrad Hotel in Bangkok attended by international dignitaries from around the world. HRH Princess Ubol Rattana presented the Kinnaree award to winners selected by an international jury of producers, actors and directors from the entertainment industry. French star Catherine Deneuve was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by HRH Princess Ubol Rattana at the gala in recognition of her contribution to the cinema. Le Parapluies de Cherbourg (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg) was shown during the festival, followed by a Q&A with the international star on Tuesday, February 21 st .
