ARR Opted out of WYR because of Slumdog and other projects which he was
doing at that time. The tunes for WYR are entirely Sohail Sen's
Ashutosh wont be using AR's tunes and credit them to any other MD No way
possible.

ARR had to work on Delhi 6 and SDM. Composing 13 songs for WYR was
impossible
so they mutually decided to part ways for this movie alone.

Is it true that Rahman was the first choice for Ashutosh Gowariker? The bit of
info was displayed in Channel [V]'s ticker during Double Shot. Can anyone
clarify why ARR opted stay away from this movie? If u listen to the composition
of "WYR?" you can find that the tunes for some songs were simi
ya, ARR has already been signed for some mega projects and considering the
fact that ARR wud have to nod his head for mani's project, it would take him
another 2 years to complete those commitments. though its ARRs affiliation
with AG in this movie is not a good news, we as fans have to accept it f
