I took a two weeks off from the forum. deliberately to avoid all the negative comments and fight over the new album. this is the first time I did so, and when i got the CD yesterday, I was listening to it unbiased, with no expectations and found out that it is indeed a fine album. I was not overwhelmed like when I listened to delhi 6 or Guru. but was happy to hear some new sound and arrangements.. and I am sure the songs will start to grow on me.
later I checked the mails from the forum and found people complaining (again) about the sound quality. i really couldn't hear any bad sound in the album or any albums of AR recently. the sound quality is just fine. in fact it is getting better with each album that comes out of AR's studio. my only complaint is about the packing of the CD. this looks like it was done for some school project. glues all over the place and it is not even dry yet. very amateurish packaging. but I will probably throw this cd cover away and put the CD in a decent pouch and save all the tracks to my mac and ipod. Bhoola Tujhe is my favorite track I think.. it might change. my 7 10 months old nephew likes the track Yaar Mila Tha.. he kind of makes some dance moves whenever he listens to that track.
