I guess ARR music is Muthu is used verbatim in one kannada film by Ravichandran...and going by the scenes of the songs I see in kanada channels I infer that it is indeed a remake of Muthu...So we already had a film in Kannada with ARR music..so this one should be the second, Regards, karthik

Hi Rags, Being a kannadiga myself, I too hate most of kannada films. Most of Kannada films in past 6-7 years are filled with violence and plain love stories. But currently there are good directors like Nagatihalli chandrashekar, Prem, Nagabharana, kavita lankesh, Ramesh etc. who can do justice to ARR's music. I think ARR is playing safe side by reusing his old tunes. If his music is accepted by Mass Kannadiga's (which is dominated by kannada's Rahman, Gurukiran's music) then ARR can do full fledged music with these directors IMO. and BTW "Minchina vota", "accident", "muthina-haara" are my favourites yaar!! Those were the gone days... Wish those Shankar Nag, Ananthnag, Vishnuvardan, puttana kangal days come back in kannada!...
