This has got recognized as a bug and they have a defect ID created
SW00401393. Somehow I can't seem to find it on BMC Supports website though.
I wonder if its because they have just raised it and not published it to
Public users? And they said they would raise a related for 8.x as this was

This is more like an FYI thingy.. I am not really having a 'problem' with
it. But at the time of developing this piece of calculation, I actually
looked up the available list of functions when I typed the MINUTE() function
in my set field action and it didn't change its color to the function color
I think I understand what you were trying to do but don't understand at what
point you meant the list goes up that you need to scroll down to see the box
containing the ellipses to select the fields. I do not see it happening that
way - the only annoying thing I see is in the regular pane mode of t
I was suspecting you might have been trying to say that. However I am not
able to reproduce that exactly the same way as you. I do loose control of
the position but it goes just one row above for me. This is the exact steps
I took.

1) Selected a form that has about 70 odd fields that
I'm not disputing when it started. I'm simply pointing out that it still isn't
fixed in 8.1 so that...

2. In hopes that this can be a lazy-man's bug ticket to BMC people who monitor

Joe. Go into Dev Studio. Build an Active Link against a form. Add 20-30
fields to the form, setting their values to null or whatever you want to set
them too. As you build the list, everything works fine, until your list gets
so long that it is longer than 1 window within DS. See what happe

Amol,
Thanks for your response.
I do have a support ticket created actually ISS04180124, assigned to Ritu.
She updated that ticket yesterday (much after your email seems to have come
in) stating that she has yet to try it in-house, so if there is a way for
you to contact her, and let her kn
When the Set Fields list is too large, have you'll got used to the idea of
using wildcards??
I use those all the time, and I have not really faced the brunt of this bug
you'll are describing. In fact I didn't even know it was a bug as I got into
the habit of using this way too early as I found

I should have been more specific. We have an always-on VPN B2B connection with
the BMC datacenters for our Remedy OnDemand instances.
We decided to have our inbound mail hosted by BMC which alleviated some of our
MAPI challenges with our existing Exchange environment.

Lisa,
It's possible that someone didn't answer that question on communities,
because that question has been asked SO many times, and answered SO many
times that it gets tiring answeringbut I'll try again, for those that
didn't listed to previous answers.
