Hi, we also do have some problems with V7 (current patch) and LDAP. I checked the ar.cfg. Our entries are right and I defined the Time-out.
I do have the problem on a windows 2003 server, MS SQL Server 2000, SP4 on local machine and got an ARERR 8760 no network connection to AR System Plug-In-Server but all the log and error files and netstat -a looks fine. I can ping the ldap-server We are running an ars V6.3 server on the same machine, different database instance and it can connect to the ldap plugin server so I copied its LDAP- configuration on ar.cfg to the ar.cfg of my v7 server and rem out the plugins on my v6.3 server. No chance. I do not get a connection.
