Integration & Application Analyst Bring your current experience in building applications using Remedy Developer Studio and Remedy programming language, and in .Net C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, SQL, JAVA and XML using Visual Studio, to the role of Analyst, Integration and Application. Reporting to the Senior Specialist, SAP CRM Solutions, you will be responsible and accountable for managing and ensuring the readiness of the mission-critical Client Relationship Management Software (e.g., Remedy), in support of the Enterprise Support functions. PRIMARY DUTIES As an Analyst, Integration and Application, you will: * Maintain the custom interfaces and applications that extend the Enterprise Support Software as well as ensure the integrity of this mission-critical data; * Be responsible for the design and programming of application changes to meet the ongoing needs of the Enterprise Support function; * Execute various projects or enhancement activities, as directed by the Senior Specialist; * Test and evaluate upgrades or software patches on the development server, and, when stable, implement application changes as required on the production server to ensure optimization of the software; * Research, and recommend to the Senior Specialist, application modifications to enhance the performance of the Enterprise Support Software; * Document and maintain a detailed record that describes all changes or updates, including modifications description, impact assessment, and procedures to restore back if problem discovered; * Develop preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance processes as well as performance monitoring, reporting and optimization to ensure that a high level of system stability and availability is maintained; * Research, resolve, and respond to highly technical complex questions regarding system functionality and operation; * Perform third-level application support by investigating / troubleshooting CRM-related issues; * Under the direction of the Senior Specialist, manage the issues log to investigate time-sensitive issues, determine appropriate corrective action and notify requester of resolution; * Liaise with software and hardware vendors on an ongoing basis to acquire, maintain and expand knowledge of relevant products, product upgrades, support policies, new directions, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions; * Communicate, to the Senior Specialist, scheduled interruptions or issues affecting the operations of the system; * Identify, configure and test enhancements to the Enterprise Support Software and its integration with the CRM and Computer Telephony Software; * Assist with the creation of new user accounts, reset passwords, and maintain user accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency of data, as required; * Set up and maintain listings of groups, location of support staff, assignments, categorization of problems and application data; * Assist with monitoring the physical space location on the application servers, hardware performance, scheduling and all required server hardware and software upgrades; and * Periodically may be assigned to other functional areas within Information Technology. QUALIFICATIONS To take on the role of Analyst, Integration and Application, you must have: * A university degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 3 years of progressively responsible experience working on application development and integration projects in an Information Technology environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; * Current expertise and experience in building applications using Remedy Developer Studio and Remedy programming language; * Current expertise and experience in .Net C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, SQL, JAVA and XML using Visual Studio; * Good understanding of Object Oriented techniques and principles; * Strong working knowledge of the Remedy Enterprise Support Software; * Demonstrated experience with Remedy Administration and Development; * Certification such as ITIL Training/Certification or knowledge of IT Service Management and Administration; * Hands-on experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle; * Strong understanding of the inter-relationship of network systems and protocols (and related network/connectivity hardware and software components); * Working knowledge of Desktop and Server software applications, Enterprise Analytic Tools (e.g., Crystal Reports) and Databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server); * Understanding of customer Service Level Agreements and a strong commitment to client services; * Understanding of IT information / process / technology overall architectures (main features); * Understanding of IT performance measurement program: overall and specific to help desk operation; * Experience in analyzing predictive and operational indicators and developing solutions; * Working and technical knowledge of client workstation technology infrastructure products; * Good oral, written, interpersonal and organizational skills; * Strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills; * Proven ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines; and * Project management and time management skills.
