I'm pretty sure it does. We tested this in the ATS class I took a couple
years ago by sending an HTML email and checking it in both a rich client
and a text-only client. It worked great. Outlook showed HTML, the other
client showed only text. I didn't have to do anything in the Email
Engine to get it to do this, just sent an HTML email.
