We are moving our ARS server from Solaris (with Sybase) to Linux (with Oracle), and need a little guidance. We have a fresh Oracle 10.2.0.4 installation (32 bit) running on RedHat 5 (64 bit), and are trying desperately to install the latest version of ARS in order to port homegrown applications over. We've tried 7.1.0 patch level 3, and for some strange reason, the roles never show up in the database which means the user tool based admin form is basically blank. Anyone have this problem? Basically, we don't get access to the admin tool so, we're stuck for configuring it and adding the licensing info. At this point I'm tempted to install 6.x on Linux just to be able to move forward.
