We did away with ARS Perl when we went to 7604 mostly because of 64 bit OS. We
now use perl with Inline::Java and call the arapi. It's very is easy to manage
and has worked very well.

That PPD would be for an older version of ActivePerl.
I do not know how to create a PPD, otherwise I could create one...
When I get to the office next week, I can check exactly how I compiled my
version from scratch.
