Given Analytics isn't a BMC product, it may be worth asking the question
on a SAP Business Objects forum. I have no doubt ARSlist may reveal
results, but I suspect there are many gurus lurking in the SAP World.

Yes, apologies, that's what I meant: SAP Business Objects with a BMC
'Universe' (reports etc). I think the point I was making is I don't
recall MySQL being a standard BMC deployment of SAP Business Objects.

Yes, apologies, that's
issues that specifically had to do with the

MySQL is a super database. 13 years ago, no-one took it seriously and now even
SAP have embraced it.
Any news on whether ARS8 will support it?
This has been part of the system since at least 2007, that I know of..

Yes, we have installed Analytics 7.6.04 with MySQL (tied to a SQL database for

Hi everyone,
Is anyone successfully using Analytics 7.6.04 with MySQL in a production
environment?
We're having numerous issues, and are reviewing our
architecture/resource allocations to see where we might make some
improvements.
Thanks,
Rick
